In addition to serving as CFO for OMRC, Nathan is President of Tamblyn McQueen Investments, LLC, a real estate development and investment firm. In his position Nathan has been instrumental in helping establish strategic direction and carrying out day-to-day operational responsibilities. He is involved in all aspects of the development process including working with attorneys, engineers, surveyors, accountants, special consultants, and internal team members. Nathan contributed to in the approval of a $33.8 million Tax Increment Financing Plan for the Oak Ridge Landing Development in Camdenton Missouri. He has participated as a key member of the development team for the Riva D’Lago development at Lake of the Ozarks Missouri. He has traveled throughout China with potential participants in the EB-5 Immigrant Investor Program and related work.
Nathan worked at the Orem, Utah Department of Public Safety and at the Las Vegas, Nevada Metropolitan Police Department as a Police Officer. Nathan attributes his four years as a police officer and involvement in high stress situations to his ability to think clearly under pressure and deal with highly complex problems.
Nathan has a Bachelors of Science Degree in Accountancy from Brigham Young University-Hawaii, and a Masters in Business Administration from Utah State University. He spent 6 months studying the Arab-Israeli conflict in Jerusalem Israel at the Jerusalem Center for Near Eastern Studies. He participated in a 2-year volunteer service program in the State of Utah, which included living with the Navajo Nation in Montezuma Creek in Southeastern Utah. He is active in his community church, and is an Eagle Scout with the Boy Scouts of America.
Nathan is married to Brenda and has four children, Max (12), Tamblyn (10), Rocky (7) and Liam (4) with a 5th child on the way.
